History

The land of Punjab was the cradle of civilization. In 2500 BC, the Indus civilization flourished in this country in Harrappa, also known as the Harrappan culture. In 1700 BC, the Aryans came to the region, conquering the Indus Valley and establishing the Hindu Birhaman religion there.
